An Indiana couple, Carly Ann Dominski, 44, and Steven Ulman, 49, were arrested for public indecency after being caught engaging in obscene acts during a school dance recital at Lake Central High School in St. John on Saturday (June 14). According to the Chicago Tribune, the couple was seen fondling each other in front of an audience that included young children.
School staff alerted a police officer working security at the event. The officer observed Dominski and Ulman with their hands down each other's unbuttoned pants. Despite not exposing any genitals, the couple was asked to leave the auditorium. They attempted to flee in their SUV but were stopped by officers.
Dominski initially provided a false name to the officers, who discovered her true identity through a search of her purse. She has outstanding warrants for identity deception, unlawful possession of a syringe, and false informing. Dominski faces charges of public indecency and false reporting, while Ulman is charged with public indecency. Both appeared in Lake Superior Court on Monday (June 16) for their first appearance, with Ulman's hearing scheduled for next month.
In Indiana, public indecency is a Class A misdemeanor, carrying a potential jail sentence of up to one year and a fine of up to $5,000.
