Where are the activists, where’s the anger, where’s the marches, where’s BLM for that matter? A lot of people quiet, the silence is deafening.
Police say a 24-year-old man was shot by a suspect who opened fire inches away from children diving for safety in the Bronx.
The incident was reported around 6:45 p.m. on Thursday in front of 1551 Sheridan Ave. The children, a 10-year-old girl and her 5-year-old brother, miraculously avoided being shot as the gunman opened fire on his intended target, the 24-year-old man.
“The victim was struck in the leg and back and taken to the hospital, where he is expected to survive.
According to the NYPD, the victim was taken to an area hospital by private means. While his condition was not clear, police Friday morning said he was “stable.”
The NYPD released the video of the incident above in hopes the public could help identify the suspect, who they described as a man wearing sunglasses and all-black clothing.
The getaway driver was described as a man wearing a white baseball cap, a red long-sleeved shirt and dark-colored shorts.”
NYPD released a photo of the man wanted for the shooting.
